Forms of Hair Loss

The head scalp looses approximately 50 to 100 hair follicles a day. If there is a substantial increase in the fall of the hair from the scalp then that in turn takes the shape of baldness. When one brushes up the hair, wash them in the powder room, comb them to apply the pressure or force more then normally required etc the hair follicles tends to start breaking and falling.

Even from time to time the process of the fall becomes so acute that thick bunch of one sided hair starts falling with a loose control to make them hold or stick to their respected places over the head scalp. Women use clips and sticks to hold them firmly but it is just a one-time satisfaction as the pressure mounted over the scalp gives permission to the head to have loose hair in one’s hand and becomes the process of neglect in the marriage parties and other public places correspondingly hurting one’s personality.

Forms of hair loss

1. Telogen effluvium: When the patient undergoes tremendous stress or tensions this form of hair loss occur within two to three months as a protracted illness of the head scalp. The syndrome is also triggered by any sudden change in the hormones of the patient too. The patient can experience the hair fall at the pillow, at the hairbrush or comb and at the bathing tub of the bathroom. The hair fall condition in this context isn’t severe by nature with a thin lining of the scalp only not having an outsized bald spot of the head.

2. Medical illness of the body: The next form of illness for a hair fall syndrome is the medical illness such as: Lupus or syphilis (thyroid gland disorder) or a sex hormonal imbalance. These syndromes triggers the disease to enhance in the body with quiet seemingly advanced versions and thus causes the abrupt hair fall of the head scalp.

3. Deficiency of the nutrients: Nutritional deficiencies play a pivotal role in undermining the hair fall form from the scalp of the head. The serious implications of the deficiency can be caused due to the dearth of body nutrients such as: zinc, biotin, protein, iron and minerals etc. The people with restrictive diets and women with heavy menstrual period flow at the time of pregnancy experiences the hair fall more then in normal day-to-day jargon of life.

4. Infectious Tinea capitis of the scalp: This is a fungus that grapples the roots of the hair follicles and causes only a partial baldness of the scalp. The infectious agent has a propensity to break the skin surface and makes the surface of the scalp look scaly by nature. This part of the infectious fungus is found especially in young children.

5. Alopecia Aerate: The disease is an autoimmune disease of the head scalp. One or more tiny patches fall out when in rest of the times if ill-treated can cause the total bald patch of the head scalp. The traumatic alopecia is the result of hairdressing techniques that involves tight braiding of the hair follicles and exposing the delicate hair to heat twisting the hair with iron curlers or rollers and damaging the roots of the hair through strong chemicals which are: hair coloring or bleaching etc.

The people with psychiatric disorders tends to loose hair faster and in larger quantities then others who aren’t at all worried about excessive twisting and mesmerizing hair pulling. They relish their hair. Hereditary also causes the form of baldness of the scalp which is known upon as android-genetic disorder of the bloodstream.
